Bear Photos of Vancouver Island
Let’s take a little IG photographic trip across Vancouver Island…
Here’s a throwback to a collection of 10 of my favourite Vancouver Island bear photos from Instagram posts. They are so cute I can BEARly contain my joy and I sure wish they were as cuddly as they look. But, if you do happen to run into a bear in the wild, help keep yourself and the animal safe by…
- Maintaining a safe distance: Stay at least 100 meters (330 feet) away from the bear.
- Staying calm and making noise: Speak calmly, clap your hands, or use bear bells to alert the bear of your presence.
- Not approaching or feeding them: Bears are wild animals, and it’s crucial to respect their space and natural behavior.
